Description:

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Lead the formation of strategic partnerships, increased revenue and commercialisation of business process
  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Implementation and management of the Agency’s Training Academy
  • Drive alignment of overall transformation with the business strategy
  • Business continuity advisory
  • CSI

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Strategic Planning and reporting.
  • Knowledge of government and SADC protocols.
  • Ability to build Inter-relationship between the Agency and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and application of project management
  • Knowledge of SADC Political and economic environment
  • Knowledge SADC protocols and communication channels
  •  Advanced auditing, management and leadership skills

Requirements:

FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree or NQF level 7 qualification in Business Management, Economics, marketing or Commerce or related discipline

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 years relevant experience in Business Development and Transformation Agenda
  • 5 years at management level.
